• Changing the Way Twitter/X Spaces Are Scheduled by 0xLeined - No Role

  Content: The current method used to schedule spaces and request the presence of DAO members has some significant flaws. I imagine there is a high demand for member participation, especially after recent developments like moonshots and other events that everyone wants to engage with. Consequently, communication becomes congested, and Twitter/X is not ideal for organizing this. My proposal is to migrate from the current model to using a form or even a public calendar where everyone could see upcoming scheduled events and plan in advance. This would eliminate the need for the DAO to constantly search for messages on Twitter from people interested in organizing a space. I welcome suggestions and opinions. If you believe this could become an AIP to enhance the community and the events organized by its members, please let me know. (Also, I’d appreciate guidance on how to turn this into an AIP.)

  Content: Excellent initiation on the subject, and thanks for recommending and complementing my thread, I definitely think it’s worth a deeper approach to the subject, and if you have time for it, many here will appreciate it Even working with IT for many years, sometimes I fail in one security detail or another, the same as the browser, I knew that it was possible to copy passwords, etc., but I never imagined that even the seed of my metamask could be extracted so easily, this was definitely worrying Thank you for taking the time to write this thread, it will no doubt make many people more aware of their data security

• Wallet Security - Firefox Profiles by 0xLeined - No Role

  Content: These days I made a fascinating and frightening discovery I needed to clean up my computer, and I decided to format it, but in order not to have the rework of downloading all my plugins and favorites, I decided to simply copy my firefox profile to an external HD and save it to restore it on the computer later My surprise came when when restoring the browser (on the completely formatted computer), my metamask came along, and it already had the seed! Just put the password again and that’s it, wallet recovered! I didn’t think it was possible to extract a seed from a computer so easily, so simply and imperceptibly, and that’s why I decided to make this alert to everyone. In addition to the obvious, if possible, having a hardware wallet, be very careful with who accesses your computer physically, and also be careful with automatic backups with firefox sync, because in the same way that just copying a folder, it is possible to have access to the entire the wallet (by simply discovering the browser’s local password) your seed may end up in the wrong hands that may have access to your sync login! Take care APE friends, safety first!
