  Content: Hey @bc this is a really really good idea and the timing couldn’t be better. Depth of character Brand enhancing. Also, investor are increasingly looking at these factors ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) to identify investment opportunities. This subject is near and dear to me, since it is my doctoral thesis. My research (pre-Covid) found the following stumbling blocks: How to identify local needs and vet volunteers 2 Price of coin volatility causing uncertainty in its value NPO Funding: admin., tracking and gas fees Workarounds: Work with established 501 C (US) national service organizations that has hundreds of regional and local chapters who are already vetting local needs and volunteers. Work with the local presence of national organization that are totally dependent on volunteers. I have already identified and have had preliminary discussions on the use and benefits of using a coin/token to incentivize and reward volunteers. Their responses were positive. Coin Price Volatility: Tie the value of a coin to a percentage discount rather than a fixed dollar amount. I have already identified a dozen large corporations that could potentially be offering these discounts. Funding Grants from APECoin DAO My dream is that one day, a poor kid can get into the educational institution of their choice based on his/her Good Deeds. I’m going to be like Guy Oseary and nominate myself to make Good Deeds coin a reality.

  Content: Moral hazard? If we were to do this, we might want to view ourselves more like Lloyd’s of London~Excess Insurance and not as primary insurance. The stolen NFT holder would sustain the first 20 % - 40 % (some number) of the loss before our coverage would kick in. Then we’d have to carefully consider the terms of coverage. Would it be cost versus current market value (which ever is lowest or else bad actors will have a field day). If we’re going to act as an insurance provider, that might require a Reserve Account would need to be established. etc etc etc Legal opinion probably would be necessary since the DAO maybe inviting unforeseen liabilities.

  Content: Your observations and feedback are right on point. Certainly additional expert knowledge is required before parcel selection. I was hoping that a representative of Yuga Labs provide input especially about the location of public lands. Knowing those locations would inform our decision. In the interim we can rent then lease a space. Decentraland does have the University estate. Both Decentraland and Sandbox have DAOS and it’s not inconceivable that a collab event can be put on. And certainly other events as suggested by @SSP and others. Your virtual land committee idea deserves a lot of consideration as it could help plot and steer long term initiatives. Looking forward to additional discussions……

  Content: When its market cap falls below its peers, APECoin’s relative price performance is not signaling that it is the premiere leader in this space. One factor that contributes to this is insufficient communication which we’re currently addressing. Communications during a bear market become even more crucial. When I see an extremely negative comment regarding APECoin, I usually invite people to come join us and see what’s being done and contribute with their energy and ideas. What are others doing?
