I need ape therapy. A place to discuss your problems
This is an interesting statement. Are you thinking of a business - like some kind of branding but with therapy? Or is this more of a suggestion that this community lacks a place for people to have open, small group or one-on-one conversations that are about more than start-up business ventures?
Your suggestion really touches on the social nature of online interactions. If we’re not here for each other, then why are we here? Is it just to get funding for a business idea? What connections are being built here that will last? If this DAO closed tomorrow, how many people would continue to talk to those they met here, if not to discuss how to fund business ventures? What kind of community, environment, or atmosphere does this DAO seek to establish?

Content: It would be fun to see some general statistics on AIPs and who is contributing to the DAO. Maybe a ranking system

Content: Would a voted in office work or maybe all MBA holders get guarantee rooms and we can focus on building and networking apechain. I thinks it’s such a crucial time right now for the combination between builders and everyone in the DAO to come together to thrive.

AIP-425: Ape Hospitality Group: ApeCoin Summit

Content: The reason this hotel was chosen is because I am currently working there and it would be an easier thing to accomplish but we can definitely do a neutral place.

It’s definitely an interesting concept.
My only insight here might be that the DAO is still finding itself in certain areas. The good thing is that we’ve got ApeChain on the way, which has become the our much-needed North Star.
I would view something like this as a great networking and team-building experience for top builders and contributors within the ApeCoin ecosystem. Rather than offering the experience on a first-come-first-served basis, we could strategize with a tiered approach promoting greater focus on delegates and our active voters, with a specific allocation allotted to a FCFS approach. It will be important to get attendees invested before issuing tickets through something like Tokenproof, where people would be required to make a deposit, which could be reimbursed with proof of attendance, similar to how Yuga Labs operated the last ApeFest.
You may want to smooth over some of the party vibes on this to focus more on the building side as well, as we know that no matter what, fun will ensue.
Confident that some big things could come out of something structured like this. Also, it may feel a little North America-centric in Florida, although quite beautiful. What about a resort in a place a little more neutral?
Happy to keep the convo going
I’m glad you find the concept interesting, and your insights are certainly valuable in refining the approach. Here’s how we could potentially adjust the proposal based on your suggestions:
Tiered Access and Incentives:
Implement a tiered access system that prioritizes delegates and active voters in the ApeCoin community. This could help ensure that those who are most invested in the DAO’s development get preferential access to the event.
Reserve a portion of the access on a first-come-first-served basis, ensuring some open availability for broader community engagement.
Deposit System with Tokenproof:
Introduce a deposit system using Tokenproof to ensure commitment from attendees. This could involve a deposit that is fully reimbursable upon attendance, emulating successful models from previous large-scale events.
This system can also serve to manage and verify $APE holdings and stake levels efficiently, ensuring a smooth check-in process at the event.
Refocusing on Building and Networking:
While maintaining an element of entertainment to keep the event engaging, shift the primary focus towards networking, workshops, and panel discussions that promote collaboration and development within the ApeCoin ecosystem.
Highlight the introduction of ApeChain and its potential, using the event as a platform to explore and expand on its capabilities with real-time feedback and brainstorming sessions.
Global Accessibility:
Consider hosting the event at a more globally neutral location to attract a wider, international audience. This could enhance the diversity of perspectives and contributions to the discussions.
Explore multiple venues in different regions, potentially planning a series of events, each tailored to regional specifics yet connected by common themes and goals.
By incorporating these elements, the proposal would not only foster a stronger sense of community and collaboration within the ApeCoin ecosystem but also ensure a more structured and productive outcome. This could serve as a pivotal moment for the DAO, aligning with the introduction of ApeChain and setting a precedent for future engagement.
Let me know if these adjustments align with your vision, or if there are any other aspects you think we should further explore!

Content: Wouldn’t having a tiered vote not currently be possible. If it is then that is a great idea. I picked a number I saw a lot of people on Twitter were talking about. In my opinion 50 % would be a great way to see what the community votes for. Please @ 12 GAUGE.Admin are we able to do a multiple choice vote on snapshot?
