  Content: Thank you for remembering us Ernest! We have dyed yarn for all 500 rugs & in our AIP we were advised not to ask for any funding in exchange of marketing support. In nearly 17 months there has only been 1 tweet & 1 rt while in our AIP it was supposed to be a biweekly tweet. We have been marketing these many times a week & we have spent way longer time waiting for this. We would appreciate if the dao could step up in helping us. We have also spoken to many individuals however no help. We are a community member who is providing value & the community loves the quality we are providing so why is a tweet from the dao not happening? Secondly, these are not just any rugs. These are official Apecoin Rugs. Could be used for irl events or rewards for gaming competitions etc. There is no limit to possibilities. But we need the support because our artisans are dependent upon this.

  Content: I’m so glad finally someone has made this public!! I have DMed to special council, cwg & soo many members about us not getting the support from the dao that honestly it has led to depression. When I heard the first spaces of apecoin dao I genuinely felt wow these people support creators & I made an AIP & from the beginning things were not as what I heard in spaces. Our AIP was passed because the dao literally had nothing else to pass & infact had been rejecting all AIPs! We were suggested to not ask for a grant. Dao has been granting millions for unnecessary but won’t support a genuine creator! We were then asked to go for just marketing support in terms of bi weekly tweets or rt & after 2 - 3 rt nothing happened. So who really checks what’s the real benefit ?! What happens is friends of friends gets their AIPs passed in a blink. We are proud when I say we got to make first ever Official apecoin quality rugs & to hear from mar comms that there is no place to display at irl events is the most ridiculous explanation I have ever got. If anyone has marketing experience then you have got to display & dao is spending to literally money to host an event & yet don’t have a space to show something that’s official?!? The main problem is passing of AIPs of friends / family of people who already have inner positions in the dao & o won’t say name but before our AIP was even going to pass I was informed internally it will pass just shows how much centralised the dao really is. The team knows it that few months ago I requested to withdraw our AIP because of lack of support from dao or the team & yet there is no response. When I shared that I have spent my money & my families money the response I got was I was emotional! Wtf is that reply! We are humans and if you can’t support then don’t speak things that will hurt. Here is the replies from council & other members when i reached out in dms. Special council- “bro you don’t always have to tweet about rugs” this was shocking to me because this is my business & im not making something for me I was making the rugs to represent apecoin Marcoms- “no space to display the rug at events” like are you kidding me? Dev Allo brought his own rug at Brussels event & everyone loved getting photos & convesations started to happen. So someone who bought the rug found the space yet the team who is actually responsible didn’t find the space? Member : “don’t ask for funding, coz your AIP won’t pass” this led me to spend my own money. From discourse to twitter dms all support we got was to talk to this person to this person & honestly I have had enough when I was asked to request some people. Like wtf. I’m grateful for everyone who has supported me but this is the truth that exists in dao. The favourites gets their AIPs passed & the real hard working people get silenced. There is so many things & names that I won’t mention but this is the reality & im glad bojangle has shared this! Just recently bigbill asked me to shared my thoughts from passed AIP authors & I shared my honest thoughts, Does anyone in the dao really know how much they are spending upon marketing? I’m glad bojangle has shared his honest option here! It’s time to think again for a better future or else with current state things are going to get worse as the they will keep continuing to drain dao & dao loves getting drained as friends of Moca just votes in favor. That being said I love bojangle for supporting us & for sharing the truth! The dao should be held responsible for not doing what it was supposed to do in our AIP just shows what the dao is all about.

  Content: The ApeCoin DAO has posted a few resources on navigating the AIP process, including a series of Discourse posts; based on your experience, are these resources and the website helpful for drafting an AIP? At the time when we submitted our AIP, we read the guidelines, discussed openly in spaces & discourse. In my experience no there was not enough resouces but surprisingly top members already knew before hand which aip would pass which would not pass how one could pass. We submitted our aip after considering what was best suggested by community Have there been any delays or changes to the original timeline? Yes minimal to no marketing support. Do you have any updates regarding the budget? Ideally we would need 89000 ape How can the community support your initiative? Support buy, spread the word. Have rugs at events. AIPs for shows are granted which promise to support the ecosystem & none have actually thought to carry or display official merch except for our client Allo whi brought his apecoin rug at brussels event & everyone loved seeing a physical. Do you have anything you would like to tell the community? We are building, working non stop & deliverying. Do you provide consent to share these questions with the community in this forum? yes.

  Content: yes i filled google form twice & dao tweeted / rt once. the experience i shared is factual. There was no google form when our aip started the first very crucial months. It was sent just 2 - 4 months from today. We lost very important time. You of all people should know things in web 3 space change in a blink.

  Content: The delay in support has caused hardships, working overtime, blockage of capital for rugs made & yarn dyes. Secondly, I see so many people making apecoin pins / stickers. Do they have permission for it? If yes I’d like to see & if not why or how are they able to use. Lastly, I’d like to know that going forward can the dao step up in support or it will be just me because for us making something official & delivering up to highest standards is a feeling of proud but no support from the dao in any way doesn’t feel right. We are making a lot of cool stuff for the few buyers & it’s all from our pockets while I see many others have been funded quite well.

  Content: Hi Bigbull! Thank you for asking & Infact you are the first person to ask about what’s going on with this AIP whether succes or facing challenges. I remember a member was supposed to checking effectiveness of all AIPs who it’s going but I don’t think checked anymore or that has been the case in our AIP. Success: we have sold 85 apecoin rugs out of 500 over 17 months! Out of 85 10 sold at 40 % loss but we are using thankape reward to recover the losses. The community loves the rugs so we are incredibly happy with that. Challenge: the biggest challenge is the support from dao itself! Originally we had asked for funding but upon discussion we changed our AIP for marketing support. As per the ask the apecoin twitter account was to tweet & retweet biweekly till 500 rugs are sold. Till now twitter has tweeted once, rt 2 & rt few months ago for which I had to reach nine people before finding out a rt request form. I feel as a community member this should not even be a request as we are together vibing with fam. We have been doing this totally by self & family funding & I wish the dao had supported & now even then there is absolutely no marketing support. Honest question. Is this RCD rug or really an official apecoin rug because i truly don’t think the dao believes in this while the community is happy with what we are delivering. We have been working day n night ourselves but there is so much an individual can do. At all conferences I think merch should be there so people can buy & it promotes mbas too. I’d love to give some rugs to fro promotion at wholesale value if required. Recently even with bape x bayc collab I see products were shared for previews & promotion & we have sent 13 rugs at our cost.
