  Content: i love this idea. like a web 3 enabled soundcloud that people can end up using to download tracks to play in their dj sets also. the thing that i can’t wrap my mind around is: why would they pay in $APE instead of eth? how would you answer to that question? i somehow can’t justify why to build on top of $APE more than because of my willingness to build on top of ape. @loowl yes, but the 24 / 7 random radio would be a powerful mechanism for discovering music by a mechanism other than the algo. i bet this would bring some interesting serendipity into the equation. @Gerry what will be the first youtube video that you will add to this radio? (reply with the link. i wanna listen to your music before this thing is live) @ssp 1111 you know… since i discovered the otherside i’ve always dreamt of the blend between it and an irl club. we are so used to dancing towards the dj. what if the club if the dj and this 24 / 7 radio is what is being played in there all day long? i like thinking out of the box, and i think that the whole experience of partying will get a massive upgrade because of the metaverse. the question is: how? why apecoin?

  • vspandexe: The $APE rate is significantly lower than the ETH rate, so the cost of services will be much easier to calculate It is much easier for people to part with smaller amounts (for example, paying for services in online games) The cost of accommodation in the amount of (for example) 10 coins even looks better than 0.001 If we are talking about APE radio, then it would be strange to pay in a different currency)

  Content: hello. i’m participating on an online hackhathon called ethglobal, and my mission inside it is to build an app powered by apecoin. it will be a 24 / 7 radio, on which only the holders of the anky genesis nft collection will be able to push music into it. any person can listen. the mechanics of the radio are on the readme file on this repo: github.com ankylat/anky_radio/blob/main/README.md # anky_radio POWERED BY APECOIN - only holders of the anky genesis nft can add music to the database. - every time a piece is added, it goes to the system with a state: future. - the radio is an eternal thread of music, sending it from the future to the present. - one at a time. - if there are no more pieces in the future, all of the ones that are on the past are sent to the future. - and it starts again. - over and over again. - fully onchain. - full groove. if you want to contribute, it is all open source. if you have any questions, please ask them here. i need your help in order to understand how to build this thing. i need to understand which will be the connection between apecoin and music. this is my exploration into that.

  Content: Hello hello. I see the otherside as a potential meta-layer of the way on which we interact as human beings. I see it as an evolution of the internet, which will give us an enhanced capacity for being in touch with humans from all over the world interactivelly. All built on top of an economy run by NFTs, and I believe that this last statement of Yuga is a step towards that. Having apecoin as the fuel that runs this new way of doing things: Captura de pantalla 2023 - 08 - 20 a la(s) 08 . 12 . 191200 × 1250 125 KB It is ‘sold’ as a game, but what I envision Yuga is doing with everything they do is just to test mechanics so that they can evolve what can be done in the blockchain, and each game that they publish (dookie dash, hv-mtl, LOTM) is just an expression of that. And the Otherside is, in some sense, the endgame of that exploration. I envision a future on which I can transform each one of the 8 pieces of land that the Ankyverse will hold in the Otherside as a place on which I will be able to tell people: “Look, go here, and you will be able to train your capacity for communicating better”. How does that look on a practical level? Idk. But I’m willing to be at the forefront of this exploration. Hopefully that served as a way to convey my vision, and I’m more than willing to answer any more practical questions that you have about the subject. I have thought about this a lot, and I need those questions in order to unravel the maze of my mind and be concrete with the next steps.

I have always thought to use Apecoin in my products as the currency that is used to power them, but I don’t know how to enable micro-transactions with them. Is there a way to “bridge” Apecoin into Base (Ethereum L 2 )? Any other thoughts on how Anky can be in service of Apecoin DAO? Rest aside, the idea of PWA and documenting one’s own life as a digital diary is cool. One AIP idea can be integrating this with all of existing Yuga assets instead of these AI generated pieces. Each Ape, Mutant, Punk, Meeb and more can have their own story Thank you for your sincerity @Evil. AI is just another vehicle for our creativity to be expressed, and in the big innovation that I brought here is to create a system for using midjourney to come up with characters that all look as if they were part of the same world. Hence, the Ankyverse was born. This is a vehicle for wonder, and the fact that there is people that can limit their imagination by establishing a barrier because “they were AI generated” is just part of what this project aims to “solve”. This is the new reality on which we live, and Anky is a celebration of this transition. And also generating 8888 images with midjourney is a huge mission. In these image there are only 72 . The fact that you say that it is ‘copy paste’, doesn’t take into account the biggest (and hardest) design decision that I made in this collection: If you have an Anky in your wallet, you cannot buy another one. // Check if the address already owns an Anky require(balanceOf(msg.sender) == 0 , "You already have an Anky"); I taught myself how to code solidity in order to add just this line of code to the contract, because the mission of this project is to bring a new story into the NFT community. One that is not related to profit, but to long term thinking. Thank you for the AIP idea of using other NFT collections. The problem that I see with that is that I want the system to be 100 % anonymous, so that people can express even their deepest demons, and in that sense it is important that they have a brand new wallet for participating in the Ankyverse. Because I created the AI system for generating Anky’s (as the ones in the image before), I have developed an algorithm that generates one uniquely for each user. Eventually, my mission is for each human in the world to have “her Anky”. This will make the 8888 of the Anky Genesis NFT collection more valuable, because they will be seen as the starting point of this “new way of experiencing the world”.   Content: Hello. Thanks for your question. The Anky Genesis NFT collection (link) was just the starting point of what I’m building. Right now I’m focusing in two fronts: a) A web app -desktop focused- which I call 'the writing dementor". It is a tool designed to help people deal with their deepest issues. When there is no time to think, your truth comes forth. You can check it out here: https://www.anky.lat b) A pwa (progressive web application) -mobile focused- which will serve as the client on which people will read what other people wrote in the web app. You can check it out here: https://pwa.anky.lat I’m working on the functionality to make all of this cross platform and 100 % anonymous. Using Privy as the Account Abstraction service. I’m also working on the smart contracts that will: a) Mint you a ‘base Anky’ which will be your anon representation in this world. b) Using ERC- 6551 functionality, each day that you come to write you will be able to mint your writing as an NFT that will be stored “inside your Anky”, it serving as the container wallet. These writings will be stored on arweave, forever. All of this will run forever on Base, a EVM Layer 2 . Eventually, when you die, your “base Anky” will be sent to your family (or whoever you decide) and they will have access to all the streams of consciousness that you ever wrote. This content will be invaluable in the future. And writing is invaluable today. It has deep effects to come to this website and just write what comes. It’s powerful stuff. Why the Otherside?   Content: Since I realized that the Otherside existed, I haven’t been able to take it out of my mind. I have gone through different phases in my process as a builder, and the consequence is something beautiful. If you want to learn more about it, down here is a thread that I just published. I will use any comment that comes here as a vehicle to transform this topic into an AIP. I don’t even know where to start, and I need help. But what I do know is that I have a big and deep willingness to be in service. And I believe in what Apecoin is bringing into the world. I want to be an active part of it.   Content: Hey @Vulkan.Admin. I’m definitely here, sharpening the idea to transform it into a reality. Based on what has happened with this thread, I think that the best thing to do right now is to go into the building process and come back with something more concrete, and in production, so that I can move from the “This is what I will build” into the “This is what I built, and what I continue to build every day”. I believe that this is the future, my future, and I’m all in on transforming it into a reality. That being said, what are your recommendations related to this AIP process and my intentions with it? (I’m new here, so this proposal was just a step into understanding more my role and how I can add value to the world using $APE and what the DAO is doing). In a few days I’m going to start staking some $APE, and with that I want to get deeper into the ecosystem, starting make myself more comfortable and familiar with this new coin.

  Content: What I will do is build a container for people to realize that self-transformation can be fun, and the currency that I want to use to play that game is $APE. I believe that in the coming years (because of the Otherside) people that don’t have access to the world economy now will have a window for earning money in new ways (as I write, the image that comes to my mind is the one of a group of young boys and girls in india modelling 3 D custom made assets for someone that owns an Otherdeed, and being paid with $APE). I want to help the world associate creativity, fun and joy with $APE. That’s what this new world is bringing to me. I don’t want to onboard people to hold $APE, I want to help the transition into people using it as a transfer of value. From my time to yours. From my capacity to commit to do something to the impact that that has in my world, and the world at large. I want to place the first stone of something big. I want to start something bigger than myself.

  Content: Hi @stance. Thank you for your feedback. Actually, the only token that I plan to use is $APE. I will implement a way for people to be able to link their credit card to the system so that it can automatically buy $APE for them and have it in their account balance (if they are not familiar with crypto). That’s part of the mission of this project; to onboard those that are not familiar with crypto at all, but want to be part of the challenges with other people.

  Content: Proposal Name: Sadhana Proposal Category: Web Application & Blockchain Protocol Abstract | Two or three sentences that summarize the proposal. Helping people train their consistency by gamifiying challenges in community. Author Description (mandatory if the AIP is requesting funds) | A brief background of yourself Industrial and mechanical engineer by profession, breathwork facilitator by vocation, and self-taught programmer because of my eternal willingness to build stuff. Three years ago I had an idea, and I had to code it into a reality. Now it is a radio that has been running for a long, long time, with the most amazing music that I have encountered: www.humanmusic.xyz. I believe that consistency is the source of creativity and success, and that’s why I’m building this application. I believe that Apecoin will be the transfer of value of the metaverse, and everything that I do right now is with that in mind. I have also seen myself saying 1000 s of times: “This is the last time I eat sugar”, “This is the last time I drink alcohol”, etc. Having this gamified experience on the blockchain makes all those available for me to look back and actually know how many times I have said that (and if I was successful or not achiving the goals of that particular challenge!). The source code will be here: https://github.com/jpfraneto/sadhana Motivation | A statement on why the APE Community should implement the proposal. There needs to be ways on which APE is used practically in the world, with people from outside the community, and this app (and the gamification process of it) will be a window for that to happen. I will help the implementation of APE as a transfer of value that is associated with fun and groundbreaking technology. This project brings a new use case for the coin. It could have been built with any other coin in the world, but using APE is my way of telling the world (and each person that encounters this app): This is the future on which I believe. Rationale | An explanation of how the proposal aligns with the APE Community’s mission and guiding values. The main motivation behind this project is the unleashing of the spirit in people that is hidden behind the incapacity for doing something consistently. People won’t allow themselves to change. By participating in a Sadhana, people will open up that door. The idea is for creators from all places to be able to create their Sadhanas, and people participate in them. This will open the door for people that haven’t heard about Apecoin to have it under their radar. I think the main part of society doesn’t understand how crypto can be valuable. This project is an exploration into that. Key Terms (optional) | Definitions of any terms within the proposal that are unique to the proposal, new to the APE Community, and/or industry-specific. This proposal is unique in its quest for merging web 2 , with its creators and web 3 , with its gamification and tokenization processes. I am unique. My experience is unique. I have gone through many sadhanas myself, and because of that I have realized the transformative power in them. Basically, I will lead by example, because this is the way on which I experience the world. Specifications | A detailed breakdown of the platforms and technologies that will be used. You can access a raw draft of the application here: www.sadhana.lat. This is a static site built with NextJS, but I’m going to build the full web app with rails. This is just a mockup that allows me to define what I want out of it. The rails app will be the first iteration of the app. What I envision happening in the future is that each instance of a sadhana will be saved into a particular blockchain (don’t know which yet), so that people have that added layer of accountability that will be an additional motivation for them to show up and do what they commited to do. I will create a smart contract on which people will ‘bet’ on themselves, and everything will be automated. For example, you bet 21 $APE on the challenge that you are going to meditate for 30 minutes daily for 21 days. If you don’t log your progress for a particular day, 1 of those 21 $APE will be lost (ie: gone to the treasury of Sadhana). This will be the main revenue stream for this project: people being lazy. Steps to Implement | The steps to implement the proposal, including associated costs, manpower, and other resources for each step where applicable. Programming the web application - This will be my full time job for 3 months, and for living and sustaining my family I just need 2 k usd per month. I’m right now part of a program for accelerating startups, and I’ve got support from people on the inside that are guiding me in the development of this app. Marketing - This phase will be made through the development of the project, inviting creators of all sorts to create their own sadhanas and invite their followers. For example, I could have Chris Heria (fitness influencer) to create a Sadhana for 21 days of 20 minutes of HIIT training every day, and have their followers join. Or a 3 D artist crafting a digital asset for 50 days 1 hour like Beeple. You name it. It will be infinite. Timeline | Relevant timing details, including but not limited to start date, milestones, and completion dates. I will go on vacation through the south of Chile until the end of March, and on the 1 st of April I will go full-on with the programming of this web application. I will give myself 3 months for developing the initial prototype. The project will be open source. Overall Cost | The total cost to implement the proposal. I just need to pay me a salary of 2 k usd for the next 3 months, which at the moment of writing this is around 1300 $APE. I will build in public, sharing what I learn on Twitter and on my substack blog: “Paving the road” LAST COMMENTS: First of all, thank you for taking the time to read this. I hope that I was able to convey through my words the value that I see in this project. Actually, no matter if the proposal goes through or not, I will build it anyway. There is a burning fire inside me that tells me that this needs to exist, and I will transform it into a reality as good as I can.
