He is passionate about web 3 , poker and triathlon. cophi, 33 years old, currently living in beautiful Portugal, is a civil engineer. He focused on renewable energies and aims to make the world a better place. He loves sports and outdoor activities. He is renowned for his community management skills at many web 3 projects, like TwoBitBears, Ledger and Hennessy. PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION: ApeFacingApes delivers value to all Ape holders by better utilizing their IP. It not only gives holders a fresh perspective, but also tools to better monetize it.   Content: Our artist already spent many, many hours (+ 1 , 200 ) with the creation of the frontal versions of the Apes. Further, we constantly create new assets to stay relevant and to serve Ape communities and MBA brands. We believe that the long-term value our project delivers is crucial for the whole Ape ecosystem, as ApeCoin will benefit a lot from Apes building projects and brands with their Ape IP. The NFT is just a medium, which intentionally was designed to have no resale value, so that whoever holds the Ape can get access to the frontal version of it, by claiming it into the Ape holding wallet.

  Content: Thank you for the feedback. Mutants are the next logical step in our journey, but to create them we would need time and resources. This AIP will be a great contributor for that. We consider the benefit back to the DAO increased brand strength and IP utilization. First for Apes, later for mutants, which will contribute to the whole Ape Ecosystem. With more brands utilizing their Ape IP there will be more usage of ApeCoin in the future. Of course it is not tangible and more long-term, but we strongly believe that this is exactly what is needed.

  Content: As a poker player I love the idea to connect poker and ApeCoin. What I don’t like are the costs which seem to be unreasonably high plus the fact that it is not very inclusive. Only a few community members will be able to participate due to different time zones, affinity to poker and limited space provided. Your first proposal with the playing cards has the same problem: 1000 card decks on a first come first serve basis. This will make 1 k people happy and frustrate 99 k others. The 45 k$ could have been invested way more efficient. This also applies to this proposal for 20 k $APE. Seeing the numbers of proposals you posted worries me further

I think i’ve addressed most your concerns below but let me know if you have any other questions. srsly: What I don’t like are the costs which seem to be unreasonably high Based on the time we spent setting up previous games it’s about 10 $APE per hour for admin. At the time of writing, roughly $28 per hour. Balance of budget goes back to the community. srsly: Only a few community members will be able to participate due to different time zones, affinity to poker and limited space provided. Plan is to rotate times to make this inclusive to all time zones and masterclass available at your leisure. srsly: This will make 1k people happy and frustrate 99k others. This is top of mind for us and we intend to include a scalable element in all our AIPs that each of our 99k+ community members can engage with. srsly: The 45k$ could have been invested way more efficient. Curious how you would invest this money, we are looking to grow from all feedback, maybe we can collab on an AIP? Interested to hear what you’re most passionate about. srsly: Seeing the numbers of proposals you posted worries me further What concerns you about the number of AIPs we have submitted so far? The time these AIPs take to pass and get funding is 3+ months. We have already started working on most of the other proposed AIPs (2 of which have no monetary cost to the DAO) and come from a digital agency background so all these items are very much within our wheelhouse.   Content: Hi Chris, thanks for your feedback. Reducing the time would not significantly reduce the costs, as the largest tickets are inital development, auditing, desgin and set-up costs. Maintenance costs for the three years are relatively small compared to that. If we would reduce the time to 6 months, instead it would pose the risk for the community that all initial costs have been paid for in the first AIP and a second AIP to extent the duration would fail. That would leave the community with an unmaintained solution that the community already paid for. Regarding your wish to see Horizens product live before deciding, I can only recommend watching the official video from Horizen https://youtu.be/_LO- 1 f 9 nyjs and reading through the documentation on https://docs.apestake.io/#/ This gives you a good overview of the look & feel and capabilities of their product.
