The goal is to incentivize and reward NFT holders, enhancing the utility and value of Otherside Koda NFTs within the $APE ecosystem. Motivation: Otherside Koda NFTs are unique digital assets that contribute to the vibrant ecosystem surrounding $APE. By introducing a staking mechanism exclusively for Otherside Koda NFT holders, we can create additional value for both the NFTs and the $APE coin. This proposal aims to foster long-term engagement, community participation, and overall growth of the $APE ecosystem. Specification: Staking Mechanism: Otherside Koda NFT holders will have the option to stake their NFTs individually and/or by using $APE coins. Staking periods and associated rewards will be determined based on consensus within the community, taking into consideration factors such as market conditions, network stability, and economic incentives. Staking can be done through a dedicated staking platform, accessible via a web interface or through a compatible decentralized application (DApp). Rewards: Stakers will be eligible to earn rewards in $APE coins for their participation. The reward structure will be defined based on various factors, including the staking period, the number of Otherside Koda NFTs staked, and the overall staking pool size. After discussing with other members via Discord and Twitter I’ve decided to implement another AIP proposal to allow for KODA staking. I hope this plan is better accepted with regards to the community than my first proposal made above. I’m in the process of submitting it now so please feel free to check it out once its completed.
