Retro Funding 4: Onchain Builders - round details
by Eagle_Cloak - No Role
Posted on: May 3, 2024, 2:54 p.m.
Content: Hello all!
I have a specific question here:
system:
Onchain contracts have interactions from 420 unique addresses during Jan 1 st - May 1 st 2024
When does May 1 st 2024 cut off date, did it end on May 1 at 11 . 59 PM (just before turning May 2 nd) or did it end on the first minute of May 1 , 2024 ?
The reason why I ask is that our dApp QuantumFair 2 (OP gov post link) we raffled off ~$ 1 , 000 worth of velodrome veNFT with the expiration on May 1 st 11 . 59 PM (UTC).
So we had TX up until that last hours of May 1 st, as people purchased tickets (made tx) in the raffle. But my concern is, are those 24 hours of May 1 st counted towards the 420 unique addresses or are we SOL? In any event, we shoulda asked before setting the raffle deadline of May 1 st lol, so fault is on us.
If anyone can clarify this point, we’d greatly appreciate it  Thank you!

[READY TO VOTE] Deliver a Best-in-Class Perp Dex Mission Request

Content: This is a very interesting proposal. However, not allowing Ember to apply will stop new teams from taking this mission request on.

New RPGF3 Distribution Disparity Data

Content: Valueinvestor.eth: Clearly I should be on the basis that I have used this chain for 1 . longer 2 . more often 3 . in greater volume than almost all wallets. @revmiller made an extremely well put outline for actual followups in Rev's RPGF 3 Retro 7 , but unfortunately hasn’t made any progress or any concrete next steps, just many likes- which is disturbing given the amount of effort that was put in. In any event, I, too, believe that Badgeholders should currently be scrutinized for their level of commitment directly to Optimism on-chain vs. off-chain activities, levels of friendships, and/or forum postings. This (skin in the game) foundational centerpiece of commitment helps ensures that the collective can honestly answer the long-term question of : ccerv 1 : But the important question is: is the kind of distribution the collective actually wants to see?

Rev’s RPGF3 Retro

Posted on: Jan. 10, 2024, 6:36 a.m.
Content: I absolutely applaud @revmiller for the time and effort in synching the feedback so eloquently. One note under Badgeholders - ‘More Transparency Needed’. I agree that it is critical that Badgeholder must disclose their interests. I’m also reminded of a Roman saying, “Who guards the guards?” i.e., how can the OP ecosystem ensure that Badgeholders commit to the responsibilities outlined in the post? To help address this, how about creating an Internal Badgehodler Oversight Committee(s), made up of Badgeholders, that tracks Badgeholder’s progress and makes quarterly reports only visible to Badgeholders? For example, the committee develops processes and procedures to track the Badgeholder involvement, and gives recommendations. If the Badgeholder receives 3 negative marks on three separate occasions, the Badgeholder Oversight Committee removes the person’s badge. These are some ideas. Something like an Internal Badgehodler Oversight Committee would take more fleshing out, but hopefully, it makes sense. Cheers, EagleCloak
