Content: On the main page optimism.io 5 in the governance section I propose a tab (name to be defined) with: -vote in progress/validated votes -incentive request/incentive granted The presentation/explanation is good but I think it would be interesting to show what is happening to involve the community and promote the incentives in progress… Opinions ?

Lack of transparency/clarity in governance

Content: Hello, I see several comments deploring the lack of investment, particularly on votes… as a retail, I find it very complicated to follow the incentive allocation program, requests/granted, votes, results… in my opinion more clarity would allow a better understanding of optimism… opinions? and tell me where are the links to follow the governance please?

It is. It takes time to catch up, and the landing is not easy. I spent many hours reading and asking questions, and we can’t expect everyone to do that so they can participate in governance without feeling overwhelmed. It’s like that in all DAOS. Optimism is in an early phase so I think it is worth it a little effort, but more structure information is needed.
I was proposing some community bottom-up projects that motivate people like you (interested in governance) to participate.
I came here because of the airdrop and I stayed because I love this:

It is. It takes time to catch up, and the landing is not easy. I spent many hours reading and asking questions, and we can’t expect everyone to do that so they can participate in governance without feeling overwhelmed. It’s like that in all DAOS. Users who sold the initial OP airdrop should become ineligible for all future airdrops

Content: it does not make sense, the goal would be to hold a token to have a token that we must hold?! it is preferable that the token changes hands… indeed those who sell and come out of optimism are to be avoided

Content: I can agree for the people who drop the op and change the blockchain… Not for those who dump the op but stay in optimism… The op if I understood correctly is for the whales to vote for the distribution and an incentive for users…? the system is good if it’s not possible to sell the op, they have no interest for retail, to flee.
