Content: This is a very comprehensive and in dept proposal. This honey pot approach toward acquiring DYDX traders is satisfactory. As Kwenta Protocol user base increases so will the utilization of the Optimism Network. It should be stipulated that the tokens that are clawed back if not claimed cannot be used for voting on future proposals by the Kwenta DAO. There should also be a vesting period for said tokens in order to prevent panic from spreading among the collective members. I would advise a 6 months to a year lock up period. Once unlocked maybe set monthly Optimism selling limits to further protect the collective. With that said Kwenta is a revolutionary protocol that will likely meet our expectations.

Content: This proposal is not constructive nor productive at all. The reality is that the Optimism Network and protocols that utilize it were battle tested during the surge in Optimism sell pressure. The protocol was pushed to its limits and the developers even had to run upgrades on the fly. Hop discovered it had a liquidity issue when bridge volume spiked. It was an epic moment in Optimism history. Allowing Optimism holders to run nodes to decentralize & secure the network is far more constructive than this salty proposal.

Optimism Network Large Scale Adoption

Content: From the 31 st of May till June 1 st Optimism had around 11 , 000 to at its peak 14 , 000 transactions per hour. Currently the network has an hourly tx traffic of around 2 , 000 . This is a significant decrease of network use. Optimism greatest strength is that it uses Ethereum for transaction fees. The Optimism Network could incentivize node operators, governance participants, and token holders with these Ethereum fees for contributing to the network. There could also be a treasury developed to accumulate funds in a war chest in order to progress Optimism adoption by Ethereum developers. The distribution of tx fees will incentivize the use of Optimism by providing people that upkeep the system or interact with the system rewards for their contributions. The airdrop demonstrated that more people used the network when there was an incentive to do so. Node Operators is an excellent use case for Optimism Coin

Content: To fully decentralize the Optimism Network token holders should be able to run nodes and stake their Optimisms in order to demonstrate their commitment to maintaining the node. It is up to the community if their should be a mandatory minimum stake in order to be a node operator or if the node operator can just stake what they wish. If there is no minimum stake then would those with lower stake have to earn the trust of the network before processing transaction on the regular. What consequences would a nefarious actor face if they attacked. What mechanism would be in place in order to protect the integrity of the system. Not having a minimum stake requirement offers small holders the opportunity to validate & help secure the system yet their are risk. Having a mandatory minimum staking requirement provides security since it incentivizes node operators to behave or else face penalties for attacking the network. If we deploy our own nodes around the world it will be the most censorship resistant network in the world. I leave it to the community and developers to ponder this proposal.
