Content: Hi @Michael - I understand this is experimental, but it’s actually a great use case to give some clear instructions on how people can work together in a de-centralized way and see a direct impact. Remotask is getting people to work for pennies an hour… and it’s doing nothing other than correcting AI. The goal would be to get people to work together towards a common good. I am sure it will work and be great. We can’t do it alone! PMed some demos. Thanks for the support @FractalVisions

Content: Hi @Michael - Can you please give a rubric for how you will determine if a project will be successful? We have a large number of medical professionals who are signed up for this, and each typically have a large number of customers. This number is above 10 k. We also have several case studies that what we have completed with the AI already works. I will update these case studies in DM also as we do not want to disclose our methods publicly. Thanks for understanding.

OP x PTH Builders Cycle 11

Content: Basic Details Project name: Path x Opt Builder Author name and forum name (please provide a reliable point of contact for the project): L 2 recipient address: 0 x 78 CAa 461 da 41 bb 64 e 08 Fd 7191657 DF 48 E 5804 b 2 A Which Voting Cycle are you applying for?: I confirm that I have read the landing pages for the Builders 23 1 and Growth Experiments 23 Sub-Committees and that I have determined my proposal is best suited to be reviewed by the Builders Sub-Committee: [Yes/No]: Project Details What are you going to build?: We will build a decentralized interface for the integration, categorization, and analysis of research articles and case studies. At present, about ⅓ of the global population has diabetes or pre-diabetes and it is not getting better. Medical misdiagnosis is present and studies have shown that Western Medicine is lacking some fundamental understanding to keep people in top health. While this is often the patient’s decision, medical costs in the US are soaring, and people avoid going to the doctor. Something must be done to decrease costs. According to WHO, most of these top diseases are preventable and reversible, this is further backed by a 20 -year study that we are a part of. These studies have demonstrated that for this to happen, there needs to be a better understanding of the fundamental science and how it works together to have buy-in from medical doctors, and also more decentralized support to serve the massive number of people in need. To further complicate things, there is no one magic pill nor one formula that works for everyone, which is called bio-individuality. At PathoMap, we’ve made a digital twin that can map out what each individual needs and have done so with ~ 2 k research articles from PubMed. Our system could be further improved by integrating more articles but also having peers help to demonstrate which papers are relevant and when they are relevant. Our AI has been able to help predict a stroke, a heart attack, to help lower blood sugar in real time, stop chronic pain, stop brittle bones from breaking, reduce ADHD and anxiety symptoms considerably and more, and this is only the beginning. With a decentralized system we anticipate being able to help expand the breadth of capability and improve the overall trustworthiness of our healthcare process and the healthcare system as a whole. It has the potential to help understand how to combat malnutrition in hunger as well. The Builder’s grant will make it possible to build the decentralized interface for this to be used and an API for other healthcare professionals to reference our data or discuss on specific forums. It will also allow independent researchers to make their own experiments and bring greater transparency into the healthcare system. Why is what you are going to build going to succeed?: We have beta tested the AI as well as the need for the product we are building. We’ve discussed with doctors in a variety of fields who know there is a need for a product to better discern how research articles fit into the big picture, to trust case study information, to dialogue with trusted peers etc. The interest in biohacking is growing, as well as the desire for a better medical system and decentralization will make this possible. Is your project likely to bring new builders to the Optimism ecosystem? If so, please describe how: There are three incentives: to make the healthcare system better via decentralized trust-building systems about what information is trustworthy, pertinent, and in what way. To have better health and longevity for one’s self over all Our system will allow people to work in a decentralized system. When someone contributes to the database and information, our system provides anyone contributing to the system will receive token paybacks that can be sold immediately or later. Also, we will make a site with great documentation on how to integrate and work with us to lower the barrier to work together. Is your project likely to improve the quality of developers in the Optimism ecosystem? If so, please describe how: Our healthcare system will improve overall health which many people who are interested in the benefits of decentralizing are also interested in. Our business model where we pay people in a decentralized way to contribute to the platform as we achieve funding milestones will be appealing for those who like to work remotely and in a decentralized manner. Is your project likely to improve the commitment of developers in the Optimism ecosystem? If so, please describe how: Everyone wants to see a better healthcare system. Many people are smart enough to be able to ask about and look up health information. We will create the infrastructure that makes this easier to do so that this information is not only available publicly but contributing more information can have a financial incentive. Provide us with links to any of the following for the project: Demo: None yet Website: Twitter: Discord/Discourse/Community: Github: Other: Do you have any metrics on the project currently? (TVL, transactions, volume, unique addresses, etc. Optimism metrics preferred; please link to public sources such as Dune Analytics, etc.): No Who are your competitors?: None known What differentiates you from your competitors?: None known Will your project be composable with other projects on Optimism? If so, please explain: We are building this system off of block chain. Team Who are your founders?: -Rose’s background is in deep tech – computer vision, advanced AI and healthcare having served more than 1 M people through Berkely Wellness Letters, Worksite Wellness programs and through serving people at local health departments. -Wilmer, is a computer science engineer with + 10 years of experiences a software developper, technical leader and CTO. He has developed video games, worked in Fintech and Blockchain as well. What makes your team well-suited to carry out the project described in this proposal? We are our ideal users. Rose, our CEO did the research to developed these methods while trying to understand how to heal her own pre-diabetes, and Wilmer has an autistic brother and would like to understand more methods that could be useful but reliable and coherent sources of information are lacking. We are part of a CDC backed program, 20 + year study on health how to prevent and delay the onset of diabetes, heart disease and stroke in the US, which gives us the ability to take insurance over a full year to intake data, track progress and our AI’s predictive model overall. What makes your founders well-positioned to accomplish your goals with this project ( 1 - 2 sentences on each)?: Rose has built the UI / UX process for healthcare professionals + has worked to serve more than 1 M people and editing medical papers and can speak to what is needed to build trust for healthcare data Wilmer has worked on Web 3 projects and can build out the systems Tell us about the rest of your team (if there are more teammates): We also have a small team based out of Vietnam that is helping to scale our platform, make it HIPPA compliant and do the real time analysis Is this your first Web 3 project?: No for WIlmer. Rose built a web 3 social media app but also we are building out the UX as web 3 even though it does not have a blockchain component. If not, what else have you built? (Share links, Github repository, or any other useful information.): Not available I understand that Builders grants are subject to a 1 year lock-up, as explained further in this post 2 1 : [Yes/No]: Yes Is your project funded? If so, provide an estimate of how many months of funding runway your project has: We are bootstrapped with an LOI, so ~ 0 months of runway Grant Request What is the size of the grant request? ( 50 k OP max): 50 k OP How do you justify the size of the grant? We will use this to get funding matches and anticipate bringing in as much revenue during the time period from current interested customers and parties. This acts as leverage and also buy in to do the project, and build out the infrastructure and create some buzz so when it is unlocked, we can have more help checking our data and information Roadmap Describe in discrete steps your plan for accomplishing your project: Create web 3 profiles Have easy to add crypto wallet or other payment systems Set-up blockchain editing with reference to the developer Create a value rate for the number of data pieces, value of the piece (how many times it will be used), the accuracy of information, and also income for the project Create a ‘feed’ for updates and for a third party to double-check and/or report false or bad data or information. Set-up documentation about how to use and utilize the API data and information Please provide any additional information that will facilitate accountability:(smart contracts addresses relevant to the proposal, relevant organizational wallet addresses, etc.) Smart contracts will be used for workers Does your plan depend on the receipt of OP tokens?:Yes - we will use them for testing blockchain burn etc What is your plan for the use of the OP token after the 1 year lock-up?: The hope is to keep them in a liquidity pool so we can keep adding value. Please provide benchmark milestones for this project. These milestones should guide the Optimism community on the progress of your project during the 1 -year lock-up period. We will deploy a smart contract for the utilizaton of the papers in month 1 We will deploy a worker’s smart contract at the end of month 2 We will deploy a smart contract for the utilizaton of the database at the end of month 6 Please define critical milestones for this project. Critical are meant to show good-faith efforts to accomplish the project. Non-completion of these milestones could lead to revocation of remaining grant rewards. Web 3 profiles for editors and users of the data base Testing of editing and ‘checking’ process API development Documentation completion Testing with third parties Optimism Relationship Does your project solve a problem for the Optimism ecosystem?: Yes! We are taking public goods and putting it onto the blockchain How does your proposal offer a value proposition solving the above problem?: We ad value as the blockchain as a service will allow other projects to use the blockchain data for healthcare projects and to check the validity of papers, and how and when the information is reliable. Why will this solution be a source of growth for the Optimism ecosystem?: Yes! We are certain once people see the approach our AI takes, others will want to use the same and will create some competition and popularity to use the blockchain. How committed are you (and your team) to building on Optimism?: 100 % Is your project Optimism Native?: Ask Wilmer Confirmations I understand that I will be required to provide additional KYC information to the Optimism Foundation to receive this grant: [Yes/No]: Yes I understand that I will be expected to following the public grant reporting requirements outlined here: [Yes/No]: Yes

Content: Hi @kaereste - Can you please clarify a few things? What does this mean? Our grant is not being considered? We were not applying for the builder’s grant but the growth as we have some infrastructure built but wanted some consideration for the builder’s grant as this is bootstrapped so far. You all also indicated you could categorize appropriately. The justification is listed as having 35 M papers on PubMed we would be tokenizing and each paper will have several dozen-hundred data points that need to be put on the blockchain. These data points are only available for a small sub-set of papers and the rest will be left open for people on the blockchain to help us add info, which they will be paid via tokens. Regarding the milestones, do you have examples of what you’re looking for? For us, the number of papers on the blockchain, data points digested, and people using and interacting is what we are looking for but I realize you may have some other ideas. I also know sometimes people think that I haven’t executed on things to build products that people use but these milestones make sure we are not only attracting people to the blockchain and accountable for building something useful and impactful. Is there anything else that is not clear or we can answer?

- FractalVisions: @kaereste may have been confused by some of the text because I do see some wording in the type of grant that relates to the builder category.
Don’t worry it will get sorted out for you.
The best way to put together your milestones is to take a look at other proposals that have already passed from cycle 10 or that have already been reviewed and commented on by other delegates in cycle 11 to get some examples from.
I believe there is still time to revise your grant for cycle 11.
- kaereste: Hey, @Raconcilio, sorry if I misunderstood something. I was assigned with your proposal as a Builders Grants committee reviewer, that’s why I assumed that you wanted to apply for Builders grants.
However, even though you mentioned at the beginning of the proposal:
Note: We ask for an additional $50k to be used to build the platform not only for growth. The builder grant would be used to make a robust blockchain platform, to test that the data is secure and would be distributed over the 6 months to UX designers, data managers, 2 crypto persons and one database manager.
the rest of your proposal seems to be meant for Growth Experiments, is it correct? If you’d like to apply for Buliders Grants, you would have to follow our application form, and answer questions regarding the Builders Grants. Although I’m not sure if your proposal would be well suited for this grant - as I mentioned it’s goal is to maximise the number of Builders in the community and even though your project sounds very cool and ambitious, I don’t think it would score high in our assessment rubric.
As for milestones, we have a strict criteria that we follow in this Cycle that is described in the Milestones Assessment page. This form is meant to both enable us to keep the proposer accountable in the future as well as to be able to assess the potential impact of the proposal.
