[FINAL] Law of Chains v0.1

Content: This has me so optimistic on where we’re headed. In addition to this insightful post, the recent Bankless episode regarding the Superchain really helped answer the questions I had on how it’s intended to work and the vision moving forward. Definitely recommend it to everyone out there.

Content: Oh good, I didn’t realize that. Maybe it would be easier to implement a lower voting power ceiling now compared to if/when it gets more centralized.

Content: Thank you for all of your replies in this thread.
I still can’t get my head around how a 33 % voting power cap could be considered anywhere near good enough.
I have no doubts that the top delegates are good actors and are positive driving forces, but if one person makes up 33 % of the work out of the entire community, that community doesn’t sound very healthy.
Long term, I don’t think I’d feel comfortable with anyone holding more than 10 - 15 %. Any more than that feels like it would defeat the purpose of this all.
I hope I’m not misunderstanding anything here.

Ideas for Meetups, Hangouts, Etc

Content: I got into crypto in the Spring of 2020 and started to spend a lot of my time around everything Ethereum not long after. I genuinely enjoy learning about all the tech, trying out new protocols, speculating on the future, and so on.
The problem is that I’ve had essentially zero interaction in real-life or online with anyone in this space. Living in the Greater Boston Area, I’m surprised at the lack of events and other activity going on around here. As for online communities, conversations seem hard to come by if you’re not a developer.
I think it would be cool to have our own regional gatherings, whether it be for Ethereum in general or for our Optimism community.
Obviously online gatherings are much easier. Let me know if you have any ideas outside of Twitter Spaces or your typical Discord server. Any decent on-chain online games maybe?
I know I’m far from the only one experiencing this, so feel free to speak up!

Don’t make Quest a large criteria for airdrop 2

Content: I’d imagine it’d be very easy to filter them out. All they’d have to do is confirm whether the user had interacted with the address of a specific contract within the quest’s valid time window.
The team also proved to be competent at filtering out bad actors last airdrop.
