Although milestones were not met based on the initial timelines set out, significant progress has been made. The academy went live in early June, with the first OP Recruit initiative taking place in mid-August. Layer 3 Quest: Explore Premia's Options with Socket - Layer 3 Academy OP Recruit Course: Premia Academy | Optimism Recruit 1 Milestone Achieved: Education and Onboarding Go-Live of Academy: The Premia Academy went live in June 2023 (not March as planned, unfortunately). This educational portal facilitates learning by doing, employing mechanisms such as ‘learn-to-earn’ to keep users engaged, exams, quizzes, and NFT completion awards. User Onboarding: We have successfully onboarded 1 , 200 users through our targeted Optimism academy campaigns in partnership with Socket and Layer 3 . Across all courses, over 5 , 000 users have completed more than 8 , 000 courses at an average time of 15 minutes per course; that’s OVER 2 , 000 HOURS! Thus, we will continue to work on novel ways to introduce ~ 800 new users to OP options. Users can participate in the Socket x Premia Quest on Layer 3 4 to learn about Socket, Optimism, and Premia while acquainting themselves with on-chain options and cross-chain bridges. Additionally users can earn time-limited NFTs and OP tokens. At the end of the event, Premia will randomly choose 2000 wallets that completed the quest to receive up to 15 OP tokens as a rebate for purchasing OP call options. Context Premia Finance is a decentralized options protocol that revolutionizes market-driven pricing and capital-efficient returns. We believe that DeFi should be accessible to all, and thus, part of our mission is to make it as easy as possible for anyone to get started. In February, we published a grant proposal in the Optimism forum to onboard users from various backgrounds to DeFi options.
