TEAM DESCRIPTION:
The ApeCoin themed experience in the Sandbox Metaverse will be produced by the Swipe Back company and administered by the Metaverse Working Group and led by DIM, Metaverse Steward.

PROPOSAL DESCRIPTION:
The aim of this proposal is to build a social and gamified ApeCoin experience in the Sandbox Metaverse.
Following a call to Production Studios in April to produce the experience, the Metaverse Working Groupe received a project from Swipe Back Studio (https://swipeback.studio/), the most awarded studio in the Sandbox Ecosystem.
The experience will be created and hosted on a 2 x 2 land leveraging the latest technology in game building from the Sandbox ultimately proposing a rewarding and fun experience to the community with the theme: ApeKin’s Playground.
The experience will be always on and frequently updated: unlocking new zones, including new partnerships and competitions rewarding players. Open to everyone the experience will provide special benefit to ApeCoin holders including: Access to special and rewarding events, limited edition assets, airdrops, etc.
SWIPE BACK STUDIO:
Swipe Back is an award winning creative studio, they imagine & produce high quality digital activations for brands, ranging from AR experiences to Gaming activations, NFTs, 3 D, virtual spaces, physical installations & so on. They created some cool stuff for Nike, Dior, Gucci, PSG, Disneyland Paris, Lancôme, L’Oréal Paris, Lacoste and many many more.

Backstory:
ApeKin has been hard at work building a huge flying ship with bits and pieces. This massive vessel is now completed, and it will provide shelter for many. A place for all apekind, a place he and his community can call home.
To kick off things, he shall give his peers armors to work with and take part in the Ape Games, a series of challenges he put together in the barren wastelands. Tonight, ApeKin feels a mix of joy, wonder but also a weird feeling that things might not go as planned.

EXPERIENCE FEATURES:
Swipe Back will leverage the latest Sandbox engine possibilities to provide an AAA experience for the APE community. A multiplayer experience with competitive events and filled with easter eggs, passed AIPs references and initiatives from the APE universe.
Portals could also lead players to partner’s experiences and/or community build experiences. Mocaverse recently launched their experience in the Sandbox.

BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM:
Leverage ApeChain: All of the assets created for the experience will be minted on ApeChain and easily bridged to the Sandbox.
Open to everyone: The experience will not require $APE to be played, it will attract people from the outside of the community
ApeCoin holders will be able to participate in special rewarding in-game events.
An always on experience for the community to learn, play, have fun and be rewarded.
Representation of ApeCoin delegations, communities and passed AIPs.

DEFINITION:
The Sandbox: The Sandbox Metaverse is an online gaming platform that offers a unique and immersive blockchain gaming experience

The project will kick off once the project is voted favorably and the grant agreement signed and will take around 6 months for completion.
Step one: Conception Phase will take 2 months.
Step two: Map production Phase will take 5 months and will start in the second month.
REPORTING EXPECTATIONS:
As part of the project developpement, the team will provide frequent updates on the project:
Monthly Update about the project in the ApeCoin DAO
Frequent social media community poll (ie: voting on a specific gameplay, lore or design etc.)
Spaces on X when an important milestone is reached.
These reports and updates would continue as long as there is updates, events and activations in the experience.
OVERALL COST:
Total amount requested from the ApeCoin Ecosystem Fund = $ 250 , 000
Three tranches of funding have been requested: $ 125 . 000 upon kickoff, $ 62 . 500 at Playable Beta launch (expected between m+ 2 and m+ 4 ), and $ 62 . 500 upon delivery.

The funding will be distributed in tranches directly from the DAO to Swipe Back.
This AIP is also requesting the trademarks agreements for the ApeCoin, ApeChain and ApeKin branding to use as part of the experience.
