ABSTRACT:
This zero cost proposal would amplify the impact of ApeComms’ ongoing public work for the ApeCoin ecosystem. By increasing availability of accurate information, showcasing progress from within the ecosystem, and featuring accepted AIPs, we aim to benefit the DAO. ApeComms has a proven track record of elevating proposal authors, onboarding new teams and contributors, highlighting members in the DAO, and fostering a welcoming environment for all ApeCoin holders.
TEAM DESCRIPTION:
ApeComms is maintained by Lost aka TheHodlrCollective, and consists of proactive contributors dedicated to improving communication and engagement within the ApeCoin community.
BENEFIT TO APECOIN ECOSYSTEM:
This proposal empowers ApeCoin holders to be more informed by providing equal access to information about the ApeCoin DAO ecosystem, streamlining elements of communication, and encouraging community participation. Through initiatives such as written proposal assessments, educational Twitter Spaces, and broadcasting interviews with community members, we would contribute to building a more vibrant, informed, bonded and engaged ApeCoin community.
PLATFORMS & TECHNOLOGIES:
Our initiative would utilize existing discussion platforms such as Twitter Spaces, the ApeCoin forum, and the ApeCoin community Discord to foster communication, engagement, and knowledge sharing. We would collaborate with other existing community initiatives, ad-hoc, to help ensure widespread, consistent, and accurate information across other platforms.
STEPS TO IMPLEMENT & TIMELINE:
We are requesting permission to begin the following work :
Enhance Outreach (Awareness): Broaden outreach efforts to involve more existing ApeCoin voters and holders by creating content with the ApeCoin Twitter account.
Coordinate with the APE Foundation’s administration to conduct regular weekly Twitter Spaces across various time zones featuring members of the community and updates for the community’s benefit.
Publicize Criteria and Onboarding (Participation): Clearly outline ApeComms team criteria and onboarding goals for volunteers interested in joining ApeComms.
Collaborate with the Community: Continue and develop ongoing relationships with community members, including DAO-approved initiatives, to ensure streamlined communication and expansion.
Continued Educational Initiatives (Education): Improve community engagement and education by creating content in collaboration with DAO members, continuing proposal assessments, and interviews.
We expect that the initiatives outlined above could begin immediately upon approval of the proposal.
